RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a training programme for young people aged 14-17 which is held at Ardenoig at Loch Tay usually over two separate weeks in July. It enables the young people to debate issues of responsibility and human relations and to improve leadership and communication skills.

Through the various tasks to which they are exposed they develop self-confidence and knowledge - all while having fun and making new friends.

It should be noted that the R.Y.L.A. week is a physical week. Activities take place all day .A good level of fitness and endurance is required in order to fully partake, enjoy and contribute to the activities

Each year the Club sponsors two pupils from local schools to attend these courses. In all a total of 36 'Rylarians' take part. 2020 will be the 30th year of RYLA.

The girls' week in 2020 will be from Saturday 11th July until Saturday 18th July.

The boys' week will be from Saturday 18th July until Saturday 25th July.
