The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot

The Rotary Club of Saundersfoot was formed in 1976. Members meet weekly on a Monday evening at the Saundersfoot Sailing Club premises, other than the first Monday of the month when we hold social dinner meetings at local venues.

Although the principles and objectives of Rotary are the same the world over, each Rotary Club is different and each club tackles a wide range of events, fund-raising, local and international projects. The members of Saundersfoot can often be seen in the community undertaking events or projects and as far as is reasonably possible having fun at the same time.

The Club is dual gender and we are always looking for more men and women of all ages and backgrounds to join our network of Rotary Clubs throughout Great Britain and Ireland, to use their time, talents, professional skills and energy to improving the lives of people in their local communities and others around the world. If you feel that you would like to know more about our Club please contact our Secretary, Steve John for more information: email: steve@coast-consultants.co.uk

We have a 'Friends of Saundersfoot Rotary' group who volunteer their services to assist at events. This is an excellent way to meet Rotarians, find out about Rotary and what we do, whilst helping the club to raise funds for good causes and give service to the community. If you want to know more about us or if you are interested in joining us, or become a 'Friend' of Saundersfoot Rotary Club, please get in touch, either using the link on the home page, by emailing the secretary or by asking an existing member. If you become a 'Friend' you can help at events or visit a Club meeting and you will get to know the members and hopefully feel that you would be happy being part of the Club, and equally the members get a chance to get to know you. We have a Facebook page 'Saundersfoot Rotary' with regular updates of the activities and events we undertake.

The principle benefits of being a member of Rotary are for fellowship, friendship and to have fun whilst providing a necessary service to those in need. In the process, you can enjoy the benefits of business networking, personal development, meeting new friends, hearing inspiring speakers, and experiencing that special sense of fulfilment that comes from achieving something really worthwhile.
