EDWARD AND ANNETTE'S GARDEN PARTY

President Edward and Annette's American Lunch Garden Party

Lovely weather with much sunshine and in a lovely garden too.  Edward and Annette's arrangements were perfect and 62 of us turned up. Being an 'American Lunch'  we all came with loaded dishes, drinks and chairs. The food was brilliant with something for everybody and plenty too. Well stuffed we then found room for some sugary, sticky, calorie packed and delicious desserts, finished off with Carole producing a magnificent birthday cake for Richard (and us) made of virtually solid dark chocolate, nuts and fruit. Naughty but nice. To top it off Annette then produced a splendid cheese board. What a way to spend a lunchtime!

There was plenty of circulation and chat and without doubt this one of our better social events. Patrick said thanks on behalf of all of us and Edward responded by denying that he had much to do with the arrangements and passed all the congratulations on to Annette.
