RIBI finalist young vocalist Verity-Belle Atkinson sang at our weekly meeting.


Verity Belle Atkinson treated club members to a fabulous vocal performance at our weekly meeting. She sang an operatic piece by Puccini followed by the amusing The Girl in 14g by Jenine Tesori. Verity has represented the club in the Rotary Young Musician competition this year and won the club, area, district and regional heats of the competiton. She was also a finalist in the Rotary GB&I final, competing against singers from the whole of the UK and Ireland. Verity-Belle has completed her A-levels in Drama, Music and Music Technology and plans to start a BMus degree course at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in September.
