The Club currently has 21 members, 1 Associate and 2 Honorary Members. We are reasonably confident of gaining another 2 or 3 new members over the next 18 months. Twenty years ago we had 23 members and so it is fair to say that we have not seen the steep decline in membership experienced by many other Clubs. Our best method of recruiting new members is ,and has always been, via existing members but also we have to ensure that we retain those existing members by striving to keep up with the times and using new methods and technology. We also take the view that the membership challenge is about quality not quantity, in which case we take great pride in the fact that virtually all our members are very active and all contribute in so many ways to our vibrant and friendly Club.
