Switch-on of lights
Each year our club donates two Christmas trees to the local community.
One of the trees can be seen in Dalton, and the other at Furness General Hospital.
President Ted recently helped local schoolchildren to officially switch-on the lights on the tree at Furness General. Fellow Rotarians joined the children, parents and Barrow Steelworks Band in a short concert of carols before visiting some of the patients on the wards.
