Presentation of a Defibrillator to

Redruth Rugby Football Club

 

We are delighted to announce that, during the half time interval, the Rotary Club of Redruth will be presenting Redruth Rugby Football Club with its own defibrillator which will then be situated in the clubhouse.

 

Defibrillation is a common treatment for life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. Defibrillation consists of delivering a therapeutic dose of electrical energy to the heart with a device called a defibrillator. Members and players of Redruth Rugby Football Club will be receiving training on the use of the new defibrillator and sincere thanks are extended to the Rotary Club of Redruth for their excellent support and advice.
