The Rotary Club of Radcliffe has been made the custodian of a generous donation from the now closed Radcliffe Riverside School.
The fund is to benefit young people up to the age of eighteen living in Radcliffe who demonstrate a justifiable need for a grant of up to a maximum of £250 or £500 in very exceptional circumstances.
The money is intended to provide a one off financial grant that cannot be accessed in other ways The grant can be utilised for educational, community or personal benefit where a real need has been demonstrated.
A committee of Rotarians will scrutinise each application and make a decision on its individual merit. The decision of the committee will be final and cannot be appealed unless the circumstances have changed. No reasons will be given for refusing an application although the applicant will be notified as to whether their application has been successful.
All applications must be made in writing explaining the reasons why the grant is needed. Completed applications should be sent to or hand delivered to Richard Dandy at Richard Anthony's Jewellers 13 Deansgate, Radcliffe, M26 2SH for the attention of The Rotary Club of Radcliffe.
