Santa Visits

In December each year Santa visits the streets of Beaconsfield.

Rotary Club of Beaconsfield organises Beaconsfield’s annual “Festival of Lights” evening in December each year and has done so for at least 30 years.

The Festival of Lights is one of Rotary Club of Beaconsfield’s largest annual events.  It is a well-known local charitable based event which engages the local community and gives considerable enjoyment to, and improves the lives of, local families, especially local children.

During December each year after the Festival of Lights, Rotary Club of Beaconsfield’s very own Santa Sleigh tours streets in the local community with Rotary Club of Beaconsfield’s members to collect charitable donations and, very importantly, to bring festive joy to local residents, especially children and disabled persons.

Rotary Club of Beaconsfield typically plans and executes Santa Sleigh street tours over six evenings, each evening employing up to eight volunteer members who engage with the local community and collect festive donations.

The Santa Sleigh street tours have become a well-known enjoyable festive event in its own right.
