Malcolm Lorimer gave an insight to one of his other lives, apart from being the Superintendent for the Methodist Church in South Cheshire, Archivist and Chaplain to Lancashire County Cricket Club, he is also engaged in Book Publishing under the name of Max Books.
Initially he was invited to write book on Brian Statham after carrying out the eulogy at Brian’s Memorial Service.
He was author of a book called Saints and Sinners and has also published the following books

Recently he has written a leaflet called ‘Bats in the Belfry by Mr Noah after problems encountered with the Bats Preservation Society!
In answer to a question Malcolm stated that his editing is carried out by a friend who lives in Bulgaria!
