Summer Programme - Club Speaker - Charles Keeper

Past President Charles Keeper will address the Club
Past President Charles Keeper was the speaker at tonight's meeting of the Rotary Club of Motherwell and Wishaw. Charles is currently the President of the Lanarkshire Amateur Football Association and, in his earlier life, he was a football referee of some note. therefore it was no surprise when he chose to speak about the new Rules of Football otherwise known as the Laws of the Game of which there are seventeen. Charles commented on the various infringements that occurred during the recent European Football Championships in France and said that, in his opinion, there should have been a big increase in the number of red and yellow cards as the new "rules" we're being blatantly disregarded by the referees. Charles was, as usual, very witty in his presentation.
