Jason has recently been appointed the new boss of marketing Gloucester a role he is eminently suited having family ties with the city. His great grandfather Joshua Rigby ran the fishmongers in Eastgate market and Joshuas son John was president of the Chamber of trade.
Jason followed John to the Crypt school and Jason to Tommy’s where his 5 sons are heading
"when you are brought up in Gloucester you are taught so much history about our city and you think it must be like that everywhere, but actually its not. We are very lucky to have so much history to our name. We have to shout about that"
A fluent and confident speaker, Jason seems to have all the attributes required for the top job in Marketing Gloucester- primarily involving tourism in the City. There is an acute shortage of hotel beds in Gloucester - 1800 more are required a good proportion in the City rather than on the perimeter.
Giving the vote of thanks Roger Smith gave Trip Advisor's top ten things to see - a somewhat controversial list perhaps?
