The Rotary Club of St. Marylebone is pleased to announce “ MAGIC AND MUSIC” a family charityconcert in aid of St John’s Hospice to take place on Sunday November 20th at 3:00 pm at The American School in London , 1 Waverley Place , St. John’s Wood NW8 0NP ( near to St. John’s Wood tube station)

The concert will feature world renowned classical pianist Sam Haywood and the young and brilliant A Sharp trio. The concert will also include jazz piano by “Boogie Boy” Codie Lee and magic by Nathan Pennington.The concert will feature the premier of a cello concerto written by the prodigious composer Anoushka Sharp as well as her three-movement piano trio.


Anoushka came to prominence as a winner of the Royal Opera House Fanfare Competition with a recording of her work by the Royal Opera House Orchestra under the baton of Sir Antonio Pappano.


The concert will also include a rich selection of family favourite tunes played by the “ A Sharp Trio” that includes Anoushka, Amos Sharp- violin (15), and Aviva Sharp- violin ( age 13).

Internationally acclaimed concert pianist Sam Haywood ( www.samhaywood.com) will be playing Frederick Chopin Scherzo Op31 No 2 in Bb Minor. In contrast, Cody Lee will add some jazz piano playing, giving young and old members of the audience rich exposure to a great mix of styles.
