Our speaker today, 24 January 2017, was Tony Hoy, who regaled us with an illustrated talk about his cycle ride along the Roses Way, a 170 mile trail put together by Sustrans, from Morecambe to Bridlington.
Having survived a fall while climbing the steepest hill he had ever
cycled up, and a 2 mile 16% hill going down the other side, Tony and his two
friends made Bridlington in three days, a very commendable achievement.John Meadows
