Speaker Phil Latham on China

Tue, Mar 7th 2017 at 12:45 pm - 2:15 pm

Stewards:- Lead Tony Hoy 2nd :- Stuart Rhodes Vote of Thanks & Meeting Report
Raffle Geoff Parsons

Phil Latham paid us a return visit, members will remember his talk on Badgers and TB in 2015.

This time, he spoke about the visit he and his colleague made to china in November last year as Consultants to N.E.M. which promotes and encourages the sale of British Milk.

He told us (with excellent illustrations on the Screen) about the Food Hotel China Exhibition, which had a wealth and variety of stands; his shopping experience in Shanghai; his time in Nanjing ( the scene of an horrid massacre by the Japanese in World War 2) and Hang Zou, where the average age of consultants was 27. We in the UK have much to learn in these Post -Brexit times about increasing and promoting our Export markets.

Members responded very warmly to Stuart Rhodes Vote of thanks for a splendid talk
