3.Treasurers’ Recommendations for Club Subscription 2017-2018

John Meadows handed out his proposed scenario for subscriptions for the coming year as shown in Attachment.

During a discussion members spoke in favour of raising the subscription to £180.

In a vote, the majority of members present approved the proposal to increase the subscription to £180 and leave the meal charge at £10.

We have received an instruction from Rotary GB&I stating that their capitation fees would be based on the Club’s membership numbers at July 1st 2017 and since our invoice has to be paid in August, the Treasurer would like to receive payment of subs during July.

Members not wishing to continue their membership should inform the Secretary before 27th June to enable correct membership numbers to be submitted to Rotary GB&I for 1st July.
