Cheque presentation to Michael Parks of Erskine Care Homes

Rotarian Dai John presents a cheque to Michael Parks of Erskine Care Homes

Rotarian Dai John presented a cheque to Michael Parkes from Erskine Care Homes in Seaton Park in Aberdeen on 1 August 2017. They are pictured standing in front of the recently-repainted Erskine sponsored park bench, which was occupied when they arrived by an Army veteran Aileen Kearsey who had served in Germany and Northern Ireland in the 1970s as a WRAC soldier attached to the Signals Regt. She was very pleased to witness the event.

All bedrooms are equipped with full disabled access and en-suite facilities.  Our recreation facilities provide social activities, entertainment and organised day or evening trips which are of huge importance to our residents’ health and wellbeing. In addition, cottages for veterans and their families have been a feature of the Erskine 80 acre estate for many years.

Our Service personnel display the highest levels of bravery and courage throughout the world, and it is only right that Erskine is there for them should they need support in the future.
