For the third successive year the winners of the Secondary Schools' Publice Speaking competition was Ballakermeen High School. Second place went to St. Ninian's High School and third placed was Castle Rushen High School.
Special prizes were awarded to Millie Smith (Ramsey Grammar School), Amber Gresswell-Wilkins (Castle Rushen) and Paulina Kurzydlowska (Ballakermeen).
