CHARITY QUIZ EVENING. Brockenhurst Village Hall.

Fri, Oct 27th 2017 at 6:30 pm -

Supporting Mercy Ships (Humanitarian Aid in Africa). A hugely successful evening.

REPORT BY QUIZMASTER AND PRESIDENT TIM RICHARDSON:
" 140 Friends and Rotarians attended our November quiz to raise funds for Mercy Ships. We are thankful to all who attended, particularly the teams  from Lymington Rotary, Brockenhurst WI,  Nordic Walkers, Lymington Town Sailing Club, Lyndhurst Probus Club and New Forest  Mencap.
The quiz was won by Clive Rutland's team (pictured) but it was a close run thing.
With an excellent fish and chip supper, a well stocked bar (well done Sue and Bridget)  and a raffle, everybody had a good time and the evening  made the splendid profit of £1,207 for the charity.
Many thanks to all who put in so much work before and during the event"

The Quizmaster who made the evening go with a swing was President Tim Richardson
