Hemel Santa 2021

Read on to find out about Santa's visits at Christmas 2021

The Hemel Hempstead Rotary Santa Sleigh 2021 House to House calendar is now out.
As last year we will not be knocking on doors.  We are asking you to come out to greet Santa as the sleigh passes.
We have reviewed and extended all our routes to cover more streets and delight more children.  Some roads/streets have been added, some have been moved to different routes and some have regrettably had to be removed.
Please check out our new Santa Sleigh Street Finder to find your nearest route.  Santa’s route will be nearby even if it doesn’t directly pass your house.

Hemel Rotary Club needs all the help it can get to spread the word so that children and parents know when Santa is on his way and can be on their doorsteps to greet him.

“Last year we collected around £12,000 for more than 40 local charities. We want to do all we can to raise as much as possible this year for all the deserving causes who need our help more than ever,” says Martin Horsted, President, Hemel Rotary Club. “The collector organisations are committed to helping out as they do every year so that children get a chance to see Santa pass down their street, bringing some much-needed festive cheer for everyone.”

Some sponsors have already signed up to support Santa but more help is needed to make up the expected shortfall in collections.  Hemel Rotary Club is hoping that individuals and local companies will contribute.  Supporting businesses will be recognised on the Hemel Rotary Club website and can proudly show off the ‘I’m supporting Santa’ logo online or in stores and offices.

Santa’s Sleigh is Hemel Rotary Club's biggest fundraising activity supporting a host of smaller charities and organisations. All the money received goes back to the local community.
