The Annual Primary Quiz

The annual Primary School Quiz took place tonight at Auchmuty High School organised by Vocational Chair Murray Grubb Snr and supported by Compere Linda Ballingall and Rotarians SVP Anne Sampson, Walter Fletcher, May Ford, Will Wishart, Jack Dempsey, Ron Page, President Lindsay Roy and Geoff Sampson. 10 Primary Schools participated,Caskieberran, Leslie, Rimbleton, Southwood, Warout, St Pauls, Newcastle, Collydean, Pitcoudie, Markinch and a reserve team (made up of extra pupils from the schools) In a hotly contested quiz Markinch Pupils , Brandon Wilcox, Cameron Petrie, Jack Ward and Rebecca Combe were overall winners by 2 points scoring 96 out of a possible 120. Many thanks to all the parents and relatives who turned up to support their children and also Auchmuty High School for allowing us access to the schools auditorium.
