The Rotary Club of Taunton supports many local charities. Our strong membership and long-standing 97-year history is a testament to the enduring benefit the Club brings to local organisations that receive funds from the Club.
Club members invest time in fund raising events and contribute to events organised by others. For almost100 years the Club has made significant donations to many causes.
In more recent years local and national organisations have benefitted and in 2017 we sponsored the following charities:
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance;Children's Hospice South West; Compass Disability; Reminiscence Learning; Rotary Foundation; World Water Works Emergency Boxes; Royal Institute for the Blind; Royal National Lifeboat Institute; Tectona Trust; St John Ambulance; Taunton Food Bank; Taunton Festival of Arts; Musgrove Park Hospital Beacon Centre; Taunton Pensioners' Christmas party and individual students working and volunteering overseas.
