The Young Writer Competition saw nineteen pupils from P5 taking part this year.  Their challenge was  to write approx 500 words on the  topic of “A different perspective”. The essays were of a very high quality throughout.   The judges, from Dunbar Writers Group, chose an entry  by Kyle McPherson entitled “A different match” as the winner.
