This award has come quite 'out of the blue' !
The Stone & Eccleshall Gazette article published in the March 6, 2018 has reached distant shores. The IFSR report that they search for reports of Rotary-Scout interaction and make awards to the Rotary Club involved. They say that “Your publicizing your club’s relationship with Scouting has served as an example for other Rotary clubs looking for ways to promote the Scouting movement.”
The Gazette article mentions "Eccleshall Rotary helped Scouts Harrison Milward and Jamie Coupland take up the opportunity to represent the district at the Scouts International Jamboree in Sweden, and have recently also contributed – together with other local organisations – towards the cost of building an extension on the Eccleshall Scouts HQ"
