Morden Rotary Young Chef Competition, 2025
The Rotary Club of Morden hosts the Rotary South Young Chef Competition in collaboration with South Thames College in Morden.
Participants come from a wide range of backgrounds and enjoy the 'frisson' of competition. South Thames College provides the kitchens and facilities, for which we are always grateful. The judges are all noteworthy professionals - Master Chefs in their own right, and of course, our humble selves.
After the briefing, the competitors have two hours to produce their meals and present the results. These were first class in 2024! The judges complimented every entry, and found all the results were extremely high quality - commenting that they felt each one was exceptional.
The event is hosted by Morden Rotary Club. President Angeles Walford will officiate over Morden Rotary's contribution to the event organisation. The club is very grateful to the catering tutors and staff of South Thames College in Morden for their great organisation and enthusiasm for this event.
