Social

We have a very active social life as a club, with a great mixture of events, some being just for grown ups and others where our younger family members are welcome.

We like to meet up most weekends, sometimes this will be fundraising or community events we’re running, but often it is a social event.

Over the years we’ve established some annual events which have become part of our club traditions, but we also try out lots of new things together too!

Our club’s launch (Charter) Night was 19th January 2002, and every year we celebrate the club’s birthday with a nice meal out.

We gather at Easter for a fabulous afternoon tea. This is always a relaxed afternoon, if the weather is nice the younger ones usually head off somewhere to kick or through a ball around. If we have some younger guests for tea, we include an Easter Egg hunt too!

We have recently discovered Banger Racing and had a great couple of August Bank Holiday afternoons with a picnic and a lot of noise and crashes. Great fun to watch.

The year winds up with a visit to Milton Keynes Museum’s Victorian Christmas, though our little people have grown-up and no longer visit Santa, but as we see him on Sunday evenings that month, we can still give him our letters.
