The venue for last week's gathering of Hawick's Rotarians was Minto Golf Club. Some members competed for the golfing trophy through the format of a 'Stableford' Competition which days afterwards still remained a mystery to most! Minto Club members Tommy Mulvee and Iain Smith supervised an enjoyable and light-hearted contest which ended in victory for Jim MacPherson, President of Selkirk Rotary Club and our guest for the evening.
Afterwards, the golfing members and other less 'athletic' colleagues enjoyed a blether in the Clubhouse before a fine meal provided by Minto's club stewards.
