Jacob's Well Appeal was the subject of a wide-ranging talk giving details of the work of the Christian Charity. The basic aim is to make a difference to those in need through changing the world one life at a time. It is based in Beverley and was originally formed in 1982 by Dr Beryl Beynon to deliver medicines and equipment to hospitals in Eastern Europe. The scope of the work has extended to many countries and in one example given containers were used to supply equipment for hospitals in the developing world.
Past President Chris was presented with a certificate to mark a Presidential Citation. [Pictured].
