District Governor Brian is delighted to welcome you to our District Conference 2019 at Bath Assembly Rooms.
The theme of our Conference this year is Rotary “Works”
It Works in every possible way. It works for us the individuals, it works for you the clubs, it works for our communities in which we operate, it works for the great national and International projects which we are able to promote and support.
This Conference is coinciding with International Peace Day and that will be emphasised by some of our speakers. Rotary brings support and peace in many ways to individuals in their homes and local communities and to the worldwide conflict areas.
Our speakers this year will focus on how we locally can bring support, help and peace in our club areas. I am sure you will connect with ideas of how Rotary can “Work” in your community and club.
We aim to bring a selection of entertainment, information and opportunities to the Conference event. Promote fellowship and have fun whilst making that difference.
We are pleased to welcome Rotary GB&I President Donna Wallbank and Inner Wheel Chair Dawn Cooch to the Conference at this new district venue the exciting Georgian Spa City of Bath. I feel certain you will go away refreshed, rejuvenated and inspired to make Rotary Work through your community areas.
