Unsung Hero Recognised by Rotary

Caroline Crolley of the Green Rivers Youth Project awarded Rotary's highest honour for her service in the community

Unsung hero recognised by Rotary. Caroline Crolley started Green Rivers Youth Project in 1989 to give a safe place for young people to meet. Located in one of the most deprived Borough's of North Walsall. Caroline and some other mothers recognised that if young people are not wandering the streets they are less likely to fall into crime. Over the years she has had several set backs but her perseverance paid off and the project has gone from strength to strength. Walsall Saddlers Rotary who have been actively involved in the project since 2009 presented Caroline with Rotary's prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship for her service to the community. Caroline is seen with club president Paul Daniels and of course Santa
