Eight members, Jane Allan, Des Donnelly, James Gibbons, Bill McCallum, Jim Peat, Allan Scott, Tom Sleith and Ian St John, travelled to the Eagle Lodge/Oregano, for an evening with the members of the Rotary Club of North Glasgow and Bishopbriggs.
We were met by President Gail Savage and Secretary Jimmy Johnston, this year’s District Governor of District 1230, and just before 18.45, another two members of their Club joined us.
There was no speaker and over the meal, and for some time afterwards, an evening of general chat and Rotary talk was enjoyed by all.
We had a very interesting and enjoyable evening.
