Rotary Bike Blanket

Some photos showing the Bike Blanket that Inverness Culloden Rotary Club donated to Inverness Spokes for Folks at Cairn Medical Practice

The Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden donated £1000 to Spokes For Folks’.  This is a Charity that takes elderly People out from Care Homes and Hospitals and takes them on a cycle trip around Inverness, on a tricycle with two seats on the front.  They visit local landmarks and stops for a cuppa ,or in the Summer an ice cream.  The People love getting out and the Charity now have 5 electric powered tricycles and at least 40 volunteers to cycle them.  We also provided a waterproof blanket, at a cost of £260, for one of the cycles with our logo on it, and this seems to have caught the imagination off the Public and Rotary World.
