There will be no Megaride in 2022.
The Megaride was started in 2000 as a millennium event for motorcyclists and those that are interested in motorcycles. The Megaride was devised with four main objectives; to improve the image of motorcyclists, to make more people aware of Rotary, to raise money for charity and to have a fun day out, not necessarily in that order. The event takes place at the Queen's Head in Meriden, England.
The main charity supported for 2019 was the Air Ambulance.
Many organisations and individuals contribute to the success of the Megaride, which has raised over £60,000 for various charities, but it is the riders who contribute most, especially those who obtain sponsorship for their ride.
Since 2020 we have been unable to stage this event partially due to COVID and also due to our main support from the Triumph Motorclub being lost.
We are reviewing how we can restart this event. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please contact us using the form below.
