Charity Golf Day - 23 May 2022

This annual event raises funds for Woodlands School

Maxstoke Golf course

On May 23rd 84 golfers entered the Club’s annual Golf day charity event.

After coffee and bacon rolls a shotgun start was held  and all 21 teams competed over the wonderful course at Maxstoke Park Golf Club.

The weather was fine for most of the afternoon and some great scores were returned. The competition was a stableford  with 2 scores to count on most holes.

The evening concluded with an auction of 4 balls games at other courses that had kindly been donated, and then  the prize giving.

Congratulations to the winning team, The Fiddlers Four, with a score of 101, and also to the second and third placed teams, also with scores of 101 points.

The event has raised nearly £2000 for the Clubs Youth Committee, and conversations are ongoing with the staff at Woodlands School Coleshill about how we can support them with some new playground equipment

The Club are grateful to Maxstoke for extending to us the courtesy of the course, and to all the participant’s for their generosity.

We are inviting teams for next years event to be held on May 22nd 2023
