Weather permitting, this year's QuadKids Primary School Athletics competition will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 17th June, on the Holyrood Academy Sports Field.
The competition, which involves around 13 Primary schools and 150 pupils will take its normal format of Standing Long Jump, 75 metre Sprint, Howler Throw and 600 metre Run. All competitors score points for their schools and a trophy is awarded to the school achieving the highest overall score.
The competition is run under rules laid down by Sport England and the activity forms part of the schools national curriculum targets.
