Ken joined us from San Diego and spoke of his voluntary work with the homeless in San Diego and some experiences of his time in Bolivia.

Coincidentally, one of the slides in Shyamal's talk last week showed a plaque recording the project between Bolivia and Rotary International and the "Fundacion Quaker Bolivia" which Ken helped found.

Service to the community requires Rotarians to devote their time, energy and professional skill to particular projects. Although funds are often raised for charity this is not a Rotary Club's first aim. The emphasis is on personal service.
