Bridport Rotary Club and its Business Partners help the 2020 Skate & Ride Park off to a secure start with a generous donation.
Prior to Saturdays official opening of Bridport’s brand new indoor skate park Bridport Rotary President Roger Pollock presented a cheque of £2000 to Rob Ridge and Dominic Brown who have planned and built the facility.
To get this new Park up and running has been an extraordinary achievement overcoming enormous problems; finding a site, business banking, planning permission, health and safety training and fundraising.
It has been achieved by the extreme determination, graft and skill of Rob and a team of volunteers supported by local businesses. Congratulations to them.
The Rotary Business Partners Donations go to Bridport Youth projects and both the Club and Partners are delighted to support this venture and wish it a successful future.
