Club provides Covid Supplies

Carshalton Park has provided Sutton Talking Newspaper for the Blind with funds for PPE supplies.  This will enable them to re-start recordings and distribution of the weekly local newspaper and the BBC magazines on discs or smart sticks.   They have contacted their readership, over 110, who are enthusiastic at the return of the recordings.   First edition will go out on Thursday 13th August

If you know anyone who would benefit from this service or  should you wish to help in the production of the recordings please contact the secretary Jill.nicol@virginmedia.com

Sutton Talking Newspaper (STN) is a charity run entirely by volunteers, each week records about 30 minutes of local news taken from The Sutton Guardian, onto CDs, memory sticks and Internet radio, for blind & visually impaired people in the London Borough of Sutton
