Young People

Rotary is committed to offering young people opportunities to unlock their potential, develop their skills and broaden their horizons.

Supporting the young people of Kingston upon Thames by sharing expertise, skill development and offering financial assistance.

Supporting schools with RotaKids, Interact, Mock Interviews, Dictionaries for Life (these are given to Year 6 leavers and children supported by Refugee Action Kingston), Satro Business Games (an opportunity for Year 6 children to develop design skills, team work, money and time management skills)  and Competitions.

Supporting young people's groups such as Anstee Bridge, Yorda Adventures, Young Carers (we recently sponsored two Kingston young carers to attend the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Award scheme).

We also support Kingston University Cares for care leavers and young adult carers who are studying at Kingston University.

We have also supported a wheelchair athlete with a contribution to the purchase of a new specialist wheelchair.
