Our newest member, Susan!

The virus restrictions do mean that Rotary meetings have had to be on Zoom as strict rules apply to groups gathering indoors and even outdoor. But the East Sutherland club still manages to run an interesting programme of meetings and a fulfilling local community activity programme from food banks and environmental tasks to personal support for those who need help.

And Susan Richardson from near Helmsdale was so impressed that she asked if she could join.
Susan is a reasonable recently arrived “local” and hopes that not only will she enjoy the satisfaction of helping others she will make lots of new friends and really become part of the Sutherland community.

Our picture shows club President Alistair Risk at Brora Golf Club welcoming Susan into the club as he sees her as an ideal fit and someone who wants to have fun while helping others—which is really all a Rotarian needs to do!
And perhaps why 7 new members have joined the club in recent weeks.
