BURNS "ZOOM" SUPPER
Mickey Ball kicked it off with the Selkirk Grace, the Haggis was piped in by Jim White, first time ever on Zoom. The Haggis was in his own young vibrant style Addressed by our old friend from the Academy Ben Durham. Our very own answer to Miki and Griff - Louise and Graham gave two beautiful traditional songs. When you get to the Immortal Memory, we have our own ...Mike Duguid. Presented in his own style, not even us Yorkshire men needed a translation. Young Beth Hutchinson gave a moving recitation. The Lassies, unfortunately tonight, came under the stethoscope of Dr John Locke. Obviously co-written by Jan, possibly as a parting gesture. The Academy again shone with the talent of violinist Fraser Hannah, a medley of classic and Scottish tunes. When the Lassie's came to reply, Law and Order was professionally restored by Jean McKnight. The imbalance of Club Membership gender was sharply addressed. Amen. Paul Tebay gave the Vote of Thanks.
