Rotary Leeds makes awards to outstanding young people from schools and youth organisations in the district who give exceptional service to their community.

On Monday, 22 February in an online event the Rotary Club of Leeds celebrates Young Citizen Awards to young people from schools, colleges, academies and youth organisations in Leeds, ranging in age from 11 - 24. The awardees receive certificates and books donated by our sponsor, Chef Works Europe Ltd. These young people are shining examples of what young people of today are doing for their families, schools, fellow students and communities.

The Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland Young Citizen Awards were created to celebrate the achievements and commitment of inspiring young people across Britain and Ireland. The awards are to showcase and celebrate the positive citizenship and important responsibilities assumed by many young people under the age of 25.
