During the past year it has been impossible to meet at the golf club but we hve kept up our normal meeting schedule by means of Zoom . Whilst we all miss the normal human contact it has allowed us to listen to some very interesting speakers from far and wide so its far from being all doom and gloom.
We have made a promotional video to show how we still managed to serve the community as best we could , and to collect donations towards our charitable activities.
more We have placed Buddy Bench signs on 12 benches throughout the Borough.
more On Sunday 19th June we held another successful Open Gardens event. The event raised over £9500 for a variety of charities.
more These are realistic looking robotic cats that respond when being handled by people . We provided some for local care homes.
more The club planted up and delivered pots of seasonal plants to 63 local care homes.
more This was our 9th Open Gardens Event and was a welcome opportunity for people to attend an outdoor event in aid of charity.
