Environmental activities

We aim to raise the profile of environmental issues with our members and within the local community

Kingston Rotary aims to increase the Environmental awareness of its members and promote environmental protection to the community.

Using our skills we provide volunteers and support to improve the environment of local charities such as Yorda Adventures.

We were pleased to join with the Mayor Cllr. Margaret Thompson's Mobile Phone "Mop Up" campaign and recycled lots of mobile phones.

We have joined with CARA (Canbury and Riverside Association) to do a litter pick in Canbury Gardens and then joined with their gardening volunteers to plant bulbs in the formal beds.

In the November of our Centennial year we are hoping to plant some trees/hedging along the boundary of the Fairfield Recreational Ground in Kingston.
