Million Steps Challenge

A major fundraising event

Mission Accomplished

Here is the cheque presentation of £4,250 which was collected by the “Million Steppers” for the Hythe and Saltwood branch of the Royal British Legion for the Poppy Appeal and their 100th anniversary.  Full respect to the walkers as this was done during what was the wettest 10days this year

Million Steps Challenge

The challenge was for 10 Rotarians to walk 10,000 steps a day between 21 June and 4 July. Steps can be recorded on a mobile phone (with an appropriate app), or any other suitable device

The "steppers" breezed past the required 1,000,000 within the target timescale.  So JOB DONE and many congratulations to those involved.  It is not too late to support this very worthwhile cause.
