Our Health Melas held in Carlisle City Centre in 2016 & 2017 and other Health & Wellbeing events around the County met with great acclaim, but obviously due to the Covid 19 Pandemic these have had to be curtailed in the past 18 months. We heard that our colleagues in the National Forum for Health & Wellbeing had arranged an on-line event in November 2020 and decided that we would host our own on-line Health Mela.
We are pleased that so many organisations and individuals agreed to contribute to this series of presentations. We have arranged for Colin Cox, the Director of Public Health for Cumbria to introduce the event. Colin noted that “there are a range of topics for you to dip in and out of, just choose the ones that you think might be of use to you at this time.”
They will all be on our YouTube Channel for you to revisit. www.tinyurl.com/RotaryMelaYoutube
We have been supported in preparing this on-line event by regional and local NHS teams, Carlisle City & Cumbria County Councils. We commissioned Eden Films Cumbria & Amy Story to help us with the animations and pulling the film clips together.
So, sit back and enjoy, remember you can dip in and out of the video when you find a topic that you are interested in.
