Giles is responsible for heading up a portfolio that includes The Ideal Home Show, Ideal Home Show Christmas, Ideal Home Show Scotland, the Eat & Drink Festival, Cake and Bake Show, Good Homes magazine and numerous digital platforms associated with these brands.

Upon leaving Bedford Modern School in 1991 after completing his A ‘levels Giles embarked on a Business Studies & Marketing degree at Kingston University. After that he literally "fell" into a career in events answering an ad in Marketing Week for a marketing role at a joint venture company between the BBC and Haymarket Publishing (Michael Heseltine’s media empire). Media 10 are one of the most successful and highly-decorated media companies with a stable of magazines and events such as Grand Designs Live, 100% Design, Clerkenwell Design Week, UK Construction Week, 100% Optical and of course the Ideal Home Show. They were also chosen from all the event companies in the UK to run the Coronation Festival in the grounds of Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
