“Send a Cow” Charity - This was the subject of the presentation by the guest speaker at out at our meeting on 25 May. The charity provides a package of on-going support and practical training in farming skills, gender equality, sanitation and money management and the provision of livestock and tools in six countries in Africa. Their aim is to ensure that some of Africa's most marginalised people have the confidence, knowledge and skills to help themselves.
