Littlehampton Satellite

A sub group of Litttlehampton Club working to the East of Littlehampton

Earlier this year, Club President Rosemary Green warmly welcomed the Members of the newly created Littlehampton Satellite Club.

The new Satellite Club has twelve members at the moment and is a new, smaller, informal group made up mainly from members of former Rotary clubs from the West Worthing, Goring, Angmering, ferring and East Preston Areas.   The group aims to work with the communities in these areas whilst at the same time supporting the Littlehampton club.

The Satellite Club also will be supporting and sharing activities with the two other local Rotary Clubs are in the area, Worthing and Highdown for the benefit of the community generally.

The majority of our members are long serving Rotarians with wide experience, probably known for r fundraising and local activities such as car boot sales, beach cleans, greening projects, tabletop sales or on national collection days as well as raising money to support local activities and international causes, for example ‘End Polio Now’ and Disaster Recovery.   We look to partnering local groups: Schools, Scouts, Guides, social groups in their projects and plans and to bring our experience and skills to help them and others.

Our next event is an Information Meeting in Angmering in October 2021.       If local Rotary interest you, or you have a project we could help with, please let us know and come along and meet us when we get together a couple of times a month – see the separate details.
