On 12 September the Rotary Club of Andover staged their first cycling event, a 50 mile route along the highways and byways around the villages of Andover, starting and finishing at Thruxton Circuit. Cyclists raised money for local charities including Unity, Ssafa, Young Carers and Riding for the Disabled. Those that completed the course all agreed that it was very challenging but rewarding.
Club President Ian Carpenter said “We are delighted to have raised £2,990 for local charities, it was a fantastic day.”
The medals and the medical support Collingwood Medical were sponsored by Barker Son & Isherwood Solicitors
